Ruminati

Ruminati is a farmer-led climate-solution platform that lets agricultural producers quickly calculate, track, and share greenhouse gas emissions data in one intuitive, user-friendly interface. Unlike complex spreadsheets previously used, its design was tested with real farmers to be frictionless and easy for time-poor, less tech-savvy users, enabling most producers to establish an emissions baseline in about 30 minutes.

My approach for the interface design was to prioritise clarity and immediate usability, stripping away visual noise to ensure farmers can get started without a steep learning curve. Drawing on the functional, more straightforward, aesthetic of early no-frills web apps, the design favours purpose over polish. Quietly confident, practical, and easy to operate.
