My two decades in the digital design world have been shaped by an intentionally non-linear approach to all forms of creative problem solving. This has offered me the ability to adapt quickly, rapidly acquiring any new skills necessary, and consistently bringing a unique perspective to an increasingly conservative and cookie-cutter design environment. In an era of siloed design thinkers, I strive to bring something unique.
Early work in branding, as well as web projects for Australia’s leading fashion labels, provided a foundation that later expanded into complex product design for global brands and highly ambitious startups. This breadth has refined my visual judgment and cultural consciousness – balancing tireless research with a strong sense of experience and intuition.
Over the past 12 years, I co-led my own design studio – working across web, product, branding, end-to-end campaign work, as well as running several series of our own large-scale event productions. This period of my career greatly advanced my abilities in leadership, giving me the skills to not only strategically run a team from above but also remain comfortable in the weeds, proudly hands-on, and executing shoulder-to-shoulder within the team.
Awkwardly fluffing my own pillows aside – looking ahead, I’m returning to independent contracting with the intent to transition into an agency environment or an in-house role that values versatility and truly creative solutions.
Let’s move fast and make things.
